The Pennsylvania State Navy will be part of the Paoli Battlefield Military Timeline event on September 21st.

We are proud to finally announce that on September 21st, 2013 we are having an
event at the Paoli Battlefield that will honor all of our veterans. We are going
to have some re-enactors from Historic Military Impressions (HMI) set up a
timeline of soldiers from the French and Indian War, the Revolutionary War, the
War of 1812, The Mexican-American War, the Civil War, WW I and WW II, and Korea.
You can visit each campsite and interact with the soldiers. We are going to have
firing exercises, and a veteran’s muster which all past and present members of
the armed forces are welcome to participant.
We are also in association with Brandywine Battlefield, The Newlin Grist Mill,
The Colonial Plantation, and Historic Goshenville, going to participate in the
Philadelphia Campaign of 1777. We will have re-enactors portray different
characters during that time period. Including a discussions between a Loyalist,
Patriot, and a Quaker. We will also highlight the Battle of Paoli and how this
hallowed ground has helped honor veteran’s since the first monument was
dedicated in 1817.
Ben Franklin will also be here to show off his inventions. We will have Ned
Hector (portrayed by Noah Lewis) a black teamster and hero of the Battle of
To wrap things up we will have ceremony for each of the different time periods
culminating in a wreath laying ceremony at the Grave of the 52 Patriots of the
Battle of Paoli.
The event runs from 10:30am until 5pm rain or shine.
